Sales Agreement
SALES AGREEMENT
To the best of our knowledge and belief, this dog is in good health at the time of sale.
This dog is apparently free of and does not exhibit any signs of any contagious or infectious disease, is apparently free from and does not exhibit any signs of any defects which is congenital or hereditary; and does not exhibit any signs of being clinically ill on the date of sale. This dog is sold with a ten day health guarantee. To be free of any contagious of infectious diseases or condition, that would render it unfit for purchase for ten days from the date of sale.
This dog is also guaranteed to be free of any congenital or hereditary condition for thirty days from the date of sale.
If a contagious or infectious disease or a congenital or hereditary defect is diagnosed by a veterinarian within the guaranteed time period, the purchaser must notify the seller within two business days of the veterinarian examination. To have a valid claim the purchaser must provide to the seller a statement from the veterinarian that diagnosed the condition of the dog which rendered it unfit for purchase. If the claim is valid, the purchaser would then have three options:
(1) Return the dog for a full refund of the purchase price, not including the shipping.
(2) Return the dog in exchange for a replacement dog of equal value, of the purchaser choice, if one is available.
(3) Retain the dog and receive reimbursement for reasonable veterinarian fees, not including the initial diagnosis of the condition of the dog. This is only an option if the condition is curable with customary procedures. If the condition is not curable only options 1 and 2 would apply. Reimbursement is limited to the purchase price, not including shipping.
The seller assumes no responsibility for this dog after it leaves the premises, due to the purchaser’s allergies to animals, landlord’s disapproval, disagreement of family, the dog is no longer desired, or for any other personal reason. The seller also claims no responsibility for any injury or illness that was most likely contracted subsequent after the date of purchase.
It is further understood and agreed upon that no warrant or representation has been made with respect to sold dog, except as set forth in writing. We hope that you will enjoy your puppy for years to come.
